The selection process for SBI PO ( It consists of 3 stages ):
Preliminary Examination: This is an objective-type online test consisting of three sections: Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.
Main Examination: This is also an objective-type online test consisting of four sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English Language, and General Awareness.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview: Candidates who qualify the Main Examination will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Exam Pattern:
- Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination is an objective-type online test consisting of three sections: Reasoning Ability: 60 questions (60 marks)
Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions (35 marks)
English Language: 35 questions (35 marks)
- Main Examination: The Main Examination is also an objective-type online test consisting of four sections: Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions (50 marks)
Reasoning Ability: 50 questions (50 marks)
English Language: 40 questions (40 marks)
General Awareness: 40 questions (40 marks)
Marking Scheme:
For each correct answer in the Preliminary Examination, candidates will be awarded 1 mark. No negative marking for incorrect answers.
For each correct answer in the Main Examination, candidates will be awarded 1 mark and a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
